Pizza Dinner Information

Please read the two messages below regarding the logistics and times of performances for the pizza dinner. (Mr. Oxman informed me that the basketball tryouts have been rescheduled since this concert has been on the calendar since last May. Talk to the coach in advance to see when this new time is.) 

My students will need to arrive at 7:15. Band classes will meet in the band room to set up, warm up, and tune. Guitar class can set up and tune in 153. The concert will take place in the commons.

We are approaching one of my most favorite nights of the year: Our Pizza Dinner Fundraiser!!!  For those of you who are new to this event, I want to tell you that you are in for a treat.   This is the one night of the year we get to see all of the students perform.  It is also the ONLY night where we gather to raise money for this incredible program.  All funds go to the making of the CD and bringing in guest artists.  What can you do?  Please bring a dessert or drinks to share. If you have not signed up for a job that evening and would like to help, please go to www.SignUpGenius.com/go/20F044AA4AC2CAB9-pizza.  Most importantly, we will be asking for direct donations.  This year we will be able to accept credit cards (Visa and MasterCard), check or cash.  All donations will be tax deductible.  No donation will be considered too small or too large.

Doors will open at 5:00 on Wednesday evening in the East High School Commons.  Come and enjoy pizza and our students perform.  Music has given each of students more than we can imagine.  It has opened doors and provided solace.  Now it's time to give back!

Please plan on staying through all the performances.  They really are so good!

It may be that a group here or there might be slightly over the time designated because  of a number of considerations including multiple drummers, pianists, bass players, etc. that make it necessary but for the most part we will try to stick to this schedule. Any students that would be able to help with set up please let me know. We would need you right after school lets out. Quite a few of you said that you would help. Right now we are also in need of students to help at the end of the night. If there are a bunch of us, we can move the equipment back up to the band room (where it will be safe) in a matter of a few minutes. If you are able to help, that would be so fantastic, but if you are not I completely understand. Looking forward to seeing all of you at the pizza dinner next Wednesday Night (530pm-930pm).
