ORDER OF SHARPS: F, C, G, D, A, E, B (Fat Cats Go Down Alleys Eating Bananas)
ORDER OF FLATS: B, E, A, D, G, C, F (Exact opposite of sharp order)
CIRCLE OF FIFTHS with the Major Scales Spelled out
Some tips...
1) Scales go in musical alphabetical order (i.e. abcdefg abcdefg abcdefg)
2) On the sharp side (right), you add a sharp to the 7th note each time you move on to the next scale; on the flat side (left) you take away a flat until you return to C at the Top.
3) Find the fifth note of each scale in order to develop the next scale.
4) When you reach the enharmonic scales (notes that sound the same but have different spellings/names), write out the sharp and the flat version of the scale.
