Upcoming Concerts

We have two nights of original compositions to share with the public.

Who: Guitar Class
What: Original compositions with lyrics by Langston Hughes, Creative Writing Class, and Guitar Class
When:March 14, 2017; 6pm
Where: Brik on York (Restaurant located at York and Colfax)
Attire: Concert Blacks

Who:Beginning Band, Concert Band, Jazz Band, some pep band members, and Ms. Pino
What: Original compositions for chamber settings and full band
When: March 16, 2017, 6:30pm
Where: East High Auditorium
Attire: Concert Blacks (black and white okay)

Both concerts are free, but donations will be accepted at both events. Also, as a courtesy to our host at Brik on York, if you're able to buy a drink or food for dinner, it would be greatly appreciated by the owner who plans to donate a percentage of the proceeds of the night to the East Arts Walk Fund.

There will be a light reception after the March 16 concert, so if you're able to bring some cookies, snacks, etc., that will also be appreciated!

Extra credit will be available to students who bring guests to the concerts - this time it's only 2 points of extra credit per guest, so bring more people! All you have to do is have your guest talk to me after the performance and tell me who they came to see.
