Guitar Class Theory on chord building

1)Take the name of the major chord you want to create, and build a major scale from it.
2)Find the 1, 3, and 5 scale degrees, and you have the major triad. You can build any triad by picking every other note and putting them together.
3) To find major chords, use a major scale and find the chords that are built on 1, 4, and 5 scale degrees. (I. C = C E G, IV. F = FAC, V. G = GBD)
4)To find minor chords, look at the 2, 3, and 6 degrees on your major scale.(In C, ii = Dm DFA, iii = Em EGB, and vi = Am ACE)
5)To find a V7 chord, use the previous scale from the circle of fifths and build the chord with 4 alternating notes, starting on the 5th scale degree. (i.e G7 would be found in the C scale using degrees, 5, 7, 2, 4 = G B D F.)

C = CEG
CDEFGABC
1 2 3456 7 8 (1)
G= GBD
GABCDEF#G
1    3   5   7
D = DF#A
DEF#GABC#D
1    3     5
A = A C# E
ABC#DEF#G#A
1    3  5

E = E G# B
EF#G#ABC#D#E
1     3      5
