5th Grade Band has two options to accommodate the varying schedules of the students. There are 18 band slots available overall.
Thursdays: 4:15pm-5pm - 5th Grade Band
Students will learn the basics of playing a concert band instrument and go through the book Standard of Excellence. A $5 fee will help offset the cost of books and supplies.
Fridays: 3:15pm-4pm - 5th Grade Band
Students will learn the basics of playing a concert band instrument and go through the book Standard of Excellence. A $5 fee will help offset the cost of books and supplies.
Fridays: 4pm-4:30pm - Guitar class for 4th-5th Grade
This class has limited space - the school only has 3 guitars for loaning. If you have your own guitar and would like to learn how to play it, feel free to bring it and join the class.)
See the contract in the earlier blog I posted to know what is expected of you before you sign up for these classes. Also, make sure your after school program knows where you will be if you are joining a class.
