Goals and Concerts for 2nd Semester

• Concert Band and Beginning Band: Pops Concert - January 21, 7pm. Reimagine the scenes that have made the music famous.

• Music History - Each class will study a piece from each of the main eras of music history.

• Each Class will learn Improvisation - 12 bar blues, blues scales, major scales, and minor scales.

Performance scale tests will be on the last Monday of each month.

• Concert band and Guitar will play the major and minor scales around the circle of fifths. Beginning Band will play 5 main keys, then transpose for the other instruments.
